Our strategic partnerships provide the tools and resources necessary to grow and deliver quality services to our users. That is why we keep an eye on the industry leading hardware and software developers. With every new partnership and every new integration initiative, OrthoGraph’s users receive a software, which performs better and becomes more versatile.
When you do a site survey, fast and accurate work is needed. That’s why OrthoGraph has been supporting a series of handheld laser distance meters for direct data input. As part of our collaboration with Leica Geosystems, there are now a series of handheld laser distance meters from Leica’s Disto family, which capture dimensions, and send them directly to your tablet’s screen via Bluetooth.

We teamed up with CadLine Ltd. to provide a fully digital solution for the architectural and interior decoration industry. As part of the joint venture, OrthoGraph licenses are packeged together with CadLine’s ARCHLine.XP 3D CAD/BIM design software to ensure that users have a thorough digital experience – from the site survey all the way to the stunning digital render.
ARCHLine.XP is “3 in 1” CAD/BIM design software which incorporates the workflow of architecture, interior design and modelling furniture. ARCHLine.XP is able to seamlessly import the OrthoGraph survey files, so the rooms data gathered on the field can be used instantly as coordinated and computable building model. In addition to this ARCHLine.XP has a rich set of specific interior design tools such as furniture, blinds and curtains, lighting, tiling, moulding, etc. Designers can easily furnish rooms and render lifelike fabrics, textiles and wall finishes with excellent light effects in daytime and night scenes. Just in a few minutes.
The software package
The mission of the software package is to speed up the otherwise manual and tedious site survey, and allow the user to use consistent and reliable interoperability across the mobile and desktop applications. With this milestone the software package offers practical, real-world solutions for all interior designers. This fully digital solution saves time, keeps the design precise and accurate. The designer can focus on the creative part of the project, instead of spending too much time with the site survey.

We believe it is mission critical for our surveyors to enjoy a full BIM CAD environment when they work with our solution. This also means that whatever survey data they record in OrthoGraph, they should be able to access and edit that data in the desktop CAD solutions they use, through our program’s IFC and DXF outputs. OrthoGraph started its partnership with Bricsys in order to make sure that their users can carry on their OrthoGraph survey projects into the BricsCAD environment without data loss and with ass little need for afterwork as possible. The aim of this partnership is to give users a dual solution – a portable on-site survey application that can bring in its data into a powerful desktop CAD program.
Bricsys® is a global provider of dwg engineering design software brought to market under the BricsCAD® brand. With relentless commitment to the success of the BricsCAD community, Bricsys is focused on providing an industrial strength CAD software platform and industry leading support at a compelling price to customers in the AEC, GIS, civil engineering, process and power, and mechanical CAD markets. If you need to create an accurate floor plan from scratch, then OrthoGraph is the solution you need. However, it might happen that the user already has access to so called point clouds, which are also great tools of the building survey industry. OrthoGraph teamed up with Point Cab, so our application can now import cloud files as background images – this way you can turn point clouds into industry standard floor plans.
About Point Cab GmbH
We want to make surveying easier and more effective. On that point, we can provide an easy, fast and universal software for each “point cloud” user.
We benefit from many years of experience in the field of laser scanning and surveying and we encourage the cooperation with national and international laser scanning key-players.
